2012-14 Salem Park Improvement Fund

The City of Salem is ready to proceed with the next round of Salem Park Improvement Fund (SPIF) grants. The Salem Park Improvement Fund is a matching grant program offered to Neighborhood Associations who are interested in making improvements at their local neighborhood park.  If your neighborhood association is interested, please read through the attached guidelines and sign the Letter of Intent on the last page. This will need to be turned in to me by September 14, 2012. The program and process is explained in the attached guidelines. The attached timeline will give you a snapshot of the application and award timeframe.
Signing and returning the Letter of Intent shows that the your neighborhood association went through a formal approval process and is ready to undertake a project at a park of your choosing in your neighborhood.   Please contact me with any questions, I am happy to chat with you about this. The program and process is explained in the attached guidelines.

Timeline (Letters of intent are due September 14, Formal applications due November 30, 2012)
